Sometimes we lie to ourselves, sometimes those lies become truth. The question shouldn't be can-it be done the question should be is it worth trying to do. "Teach thy tongue to say "I can't" and thou shalt follow"

Example: Cop asks if there's any illegal substances in the Car- You don't tell him you've got an ounce of weed in the trunk. (Stupid) *I don't wanna have to kill the poor guy for doing his job, but God knows I will if he tries to infringe upon my Civil-liberty.
