I totally agree with this. But then how do you fight the layers of conditioned behavior, if these very emotions are the triggers for these behaviors?
All emotions are valuable and there for a reason Why then do we put happiness on such a high pedestal? Wherever your state of mind, there’s always an opportunity to learn and adapt Stop chasing happiness. You’ll only drive it further away Let it naturally find you instead

That’s a great point. Honestly, I don’t have a solid answer. But I guess we must just approach everything with rationality whilst not forgetting that we are also human

These 6 sentences are sadly restricted and vague. E.g. happiness is rooted in emotion and all emotions are not equal.I suggest you read Harari's Homo Deus on the "high pedestal" importance of happiness to humankind-hard cover pp.30-43.
