Scott Adams coined the term ‘talent stack’: the idea that you can combine multiple skills and knowledge areas in order to possess a unique stack that no one else has
This uniqueness can have commercial value, and can be an alternative to becoming the best in a single field

Sadly Adams turned out to be a Trump-supporting dick... https://www.theawl.com/2017/12/dilbert-a-reckoning/ … https://theoutline.com/post/1080/scott-adams-dilbert-blog-worst …pic.twitter.com/wa0zEk6rto

Unfortunate, but I don’t think a persons political preferences negate the value of their ideas and contributions, especially if such ideas have no relation to politics

I am a clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst, published author of fantasy and digital painter ^_^ Psychology helps me in the creation of my characters, and writing helps me to communicate better with my patients

What a combo! Sounds super interesting

Much as I dislike Scott Adams, this is a smart way of looking at the challenge of diffierentiating yourself. Something I was taught as a kid: Don't make the mistake of thinking that because you dislike someone, they can't be smart, insightful, driven, or well-intentioned.

Still building the stack. Do we ever really know what we want to be when we grow up?
