Allignment is the goal. To narrow the gap between what we want to be and what we actually are. You can’t do this without knowing what you want in the first place. So, forgetting about societal expectations, and pressures from family and friends... What the hell do you want?
“Enjoyable usefulness” I really like that actually. I tend to focus too much on the future so I forget to enjoy the present and take time for ‘play’. There’s no point in being useful to the lives of others if you weren’t able to enjoy your own!
