We have no clue what the job market of the future is going to look like. That’s the reality.
We need to be prepared to adapt, not specialise.
Moving up the ranks in one company for 30 years is no longer a prospect.
Embrace change and build skills to thrive through it

But since we have no clue what skills will be useful, how can we plan effectively to thrive?
Imo it’s more of a mindset that needs to be adopted. I think the generalise/polymath types will be more opened to adapting to new environments given their solid background across many subjects
