A short thread on consciousness:
I view consciousness as the byproduct of our ability to think recursively.
Through these thoughts upon thoughts, we see the ego emerge. (The elusive ‘I’ simply being the top of the stack.)

Perhaps we have overevolved, and man is burdened with more than he can carry.
And perhaps those who aren’t able to artificially limit their consciousness are the ones who choose to end it.
