I believe time exists in two forms: 1. Man-made time, as we live by it. A tool for consistency, regularity, understanding, and scheduling 2. Real time. A physical measure of change, thus being relative to the phenomena being observed against some other measure
The most common measure of real time would therefore be related to the physical and cognitive development of human beings over the average human lifespan. The intervals and perceived 'speed' of time passing is familiar to us in this context

But despite our use of fixed intervals, change does not occur according to these rules. Quickly, slowly, change just happens. It unfolds according to its own timeline

Thinking of real time in this way allows us to truly value the time that we have. No two minutes are equal in value, despite what the intervals on a clock might lead us to believe

Time is relative. Life is a game of maximising the positive change in each interval you have. We have the power to actually increase the time that we spend alive by truly experiencing the fullest of every moment

But waste it by being passive and stagnant, and the opposite is also true. Take care not to propel yourself to the grave
