If installed correctly they would have, though as it stands now, those are installed at bollard spacing which does not in fact create a safe barrier between cyclists and car drivers. This is an error and not an improvement in safety. See these pics for proper install.pic.twitter.com/eUGHVKOdMp

These have been installed improperly and may in fact be unsafe. The installation guide for these exact products reads: "Spacing of over 8 feet between separators poses a great risk for both cyclists and other road users." Recommend install is 4 feet between each one.
