It would be nice if Americans actually visited and experienced other cultures once in a while. I lived in Japan for three years and masks, gloves, and parasols are something you just see daily. I never thought twice about them (and I still don't).

I totally wish parasols were more acceptable in the UK. I suffer from PMLE and the sun literally gives me allergic reactions that can last weeks. I'd love to rock a parasol.
