I was laid off from Twitter this afternoon. In a few hours, I had a call. Elon asked me to come back to the office and fix the SLOs to always display "100%".

I've seen a lot of people asking "why does everyone think Twitter is doomed?"
As an SRE and sysadmin with 10+ years of industry experience, I wanted to write up a few scenarios that are real threats to the integrity of the bird site over the coming weeks.

That feeling when you've been Googling for an hour and you finally figure out your problem and then you get to close your dozens of browser tabs. 👍

The most beautiful sound in the world is when your 8 year old is silently doing her math homework and then says, "OMG, this makes so much sense." Biggest endorphin rush ever!

This is such a tough one, but I'm going with Radio Shack and here's why: Radio Shack should have a code school / makerspace, Internet of Things devices for both consumers and hobbyists, and smartphone/laptop/tablet repair. And a new name.

Is there a bank out there that is tech savvy with their online banking and/or has an API? Or at least doesn't have frequent issues with apps that rely on Yodlee? I'm looking to dump US Bank since it's constantly a source of issues.

I'm constantly getting hit up by (mostly tech) people looking to hire or get hired. I guess my hobby is being an unpaid recruiter lol! Anyway, shoot me a message if you'd like me to keep an eye out for you.
