My dad is an anti-tobacco advocate. Back in the 90’s, Rush decided he was a threat to the tobacco industries and decided to put him on blast and call him a liar to his millions of listeners. I remember being 12 years old and listening to my father’s death threats on voicemail.

. this is disputed directly by the Iowa Secretary of State, and appears to be election disinformation.

We're all having a laugh about how unbelievably stupid the President is, but I wish just for a moment the Trump voters in those states would take a moment to think about the reality that he has no idea where they live and couldn't care less if they fell off the edge of the earth.

As he yammers about rules being followed, note that Ken Starr lost his job for turning a blind eye to sexual assault by football players at Baylor when he was its president.

Kenneth Starr’s argument—impeachment should not void voting—is an argument against any and all presidential impeachments. It’s an argument he didn’t make in 1998. It’s anti-Constitutional. It’s purely transactional—which is pure Trump.

He actually seems to believe that if you're suspected of advocating for employee ownership of a company, or universal healthcare say, you should be arrested and put on trial. Like being a witch or something. Not only that, but "socialism" is a capital crime, punishable by death.

When a jury has already made up its mind before hearing a *single shred of evidence*, it’s a rigged trial. This is no “exoneration” of . It’s a .🤬

You have Alan Dershowitz on your show, . He advocated for lowering the age of consent to 15 and, you know, helped Epstein. So fuck right off with your concern about children's innocence.

Oh, horseshit. If you’re so delicate you can’t have some people willing to stand up and speak their minds and tell uncomfortably real truths, reconsider exercising the franchise.

Just a brutal takedown of Trump by Adam Schiff.

How much fcking sanctimony from this toad, Ken Starr, can human beings withstand before the country simply collapses in a heap of rancid votive candles? He is ‘jacking Dr. King into a defense of Donald Trump and I think he should be clapped into the History Pillory for a year.

History will not be kind to Donald Trump. Because truth matters. Right matters. And decency matters. It may be midnight in Washington, but the sun will rise again. I put my faith in the optimism of our Founders. You should too.

Adam Schiff’s powerful closing argument should have changed hearts and minds in the Senate. But Republicans have neither, so it was just a great speech.

Schiff's closing argument in the Trump impeachment trial was one for the ages. Would not surprise me if it's taught someday as the seminal opposition speech from this era in presidential (and Republican party) history.

Schiff finishes beautifully. Heart- wrenching: 1 party isn't decent, does not care about truth and is indifferent to right and wrong. That includes Ernst and Alexander who cannot even formulate a coherent explanation for their action. It includes Rubio, McConnell and all the rest
