    A6 Until we get telepathy (or G6 coverage) then copywriting is a keystone to everything anyway. If you create video without copy then you will fail.

    A6. Death to my industry!!!! 🤣 Or more likely: _scripting_ videos so they don’t suck. Brands don’t need more video - they need better video. Hire copywriters to script with hooks, persuasive frameworks, specificity, clarity, creativity, etc.

    A5. To scale video: 1) Make it fast on your phone with a good mic + natural light. 2) Ask customers to send you Loom videos (many will!). 3) Repurpose! Get a video editor to chop a long video into short ones and turn short ones into bigger montages / collections.

    ...and this is where *copywriting* comes into play in videos. To keep engagement up, start with a hook in your video. Cut the boring parts. Use persuasion frameworks to shape your script: Attention, Interest, Desire, Action!

    A4. Yes! People are impatient. They stop watching mere seconds into most videos - but they still want the content, so they switch to reading whatever’s around the video. Videos should *support* (not replace) blog content, articles and “meaty” tutorials.

    A3. Use REAL people in your videos! For us, social ads w/ me in the video ALWAYS outperform ones with stock photos or pure text. People want to see people. Be your video’s thumbnail. Ideally do something curious - e.g., be on your phone as you walk somewhere cool.

    A2. Our flow: short teaser video → written content → embed longer video tutorial w/ transcript. So the core is written, but it’s supported like crazy with short + long videos. The balance exists for the user, not us -- some ppl prefer video, others like to read.
