Yeah I've read various online articles. I'd like to read some of the primary sources though.

I wish more people would read the primary material. The online summaries make sense, they're quickly grokkable, you come away with a mostly coherent, top-down model - but it's not the model you'd get from reading the books.

The books give lots of examples so you can begin to notice how the levels *feel* from the inside. A summary can't convey that.
