lamenting that I've never seen a gender exploration space that was BOTH - as fluid, multifaceted, and "jamming/riffing" as queer spaces (anyone can play any role; there are LOTS of roles) - held the M<->F duality as a central motif as much as "sacred feminine", trad roles, etc
Drag comes to mind, sorta? There is some tension around who is allowed to play though.

the "tension around who is allowed to play" is what I want GONE though! e.g. if I imagine a Burner festival "sacred goddess" workshop, I don't imagine all men are *equally warmly* invited to embody the sacred feminine, if they feel an urge to try that annoys me!

I've been on a tribal music dance floor where a group of men ended up in a circle stomping and chanting. I felt CALLED AS HELL to join, and I did. But I was the only woman who stepped in, and I felt some of the men looking at me in a way that I read as uneasy
