I was thinking about the early career of Bill Gates, and given the timing it’s possible that no 20-year-old in human history up to that point had spent as much time with computers as he had.

When you take this idea really, really seriously you start to think that a) videogames and other frivolous things which bring age-of-first-exposure from 24 to 4 might be underrated and b) maybe we should be proactively altering school curricula to make bets that are 10 years out.
