This is an interesting self-insight for me, since I was in high input mode through ~40. I’ve been in low/zero new input mode for almost a decade now, outside of very focused research. Not madeline navel gazing but out-of-memory error. Head full.

Could you say more on the difference between "high input mode" and "low/zero input mode except for focused research"? I'm having trouble seeing a difference between the two. My exploratory, high input mode is always directed.
