Have you ever watched a child walk down the street bent over while carrying a backpack weighing more than 20% of their weight? You think that doesn't cause problems?

Feels like you didn’t read the article Harry, majority of studies assessed saw no relationship, no influence of bag weightpic.twitter.com/295onD6O5w

I did read the article. How about common sense. Go ahead and load a 70 lb child with a 15lb back pack and see how bent over they walk. You think that will have no effect on their posture or could eventually lead to back pain?

Common sense is why we have had so many medical reversals. We did what “made sense” without rigorous study, only to find out we were wrong. Peanut avoidance, as an example

I guess M.D.s have not seen enough rigorous studies to do this simple procedure that would save thousands of lives a year. Too much common sense?? https://abcnews.go.com/Health/doctors-hand-hygiene-plummets-watched-study-finds/story?id=39737505 …

Too much effort. Doctors like the part of practicing medicine where they collect fee$. Everything else, especially following ethical standards for patient treatment & preventing unnecessary surgery on minors?
