Clearly you understand nothing about libertarianism if you think it is ever appropriate for one person to forcibly amputate another's genitalia w/out compelling medical need.

Never said I'm a libertarian, only that I understand libertarianism, which, again, you clearly don't. Amputating healthy tissue from a child's body is not a decision a parent has legal capacity, let alone responsibility, to make. Can you explain why male genitals are different?

No, libertarianism is about individual freedom. The FIRST plank in the Libertarian Party's 2016 Platform is "1.1 Self-Ownership" and begins w/this sentence: "Individuals own their bodies and have rights over them that other individuals, groups, and governments may not violate."

Read the first four words (and repeat as needed until you understand them): "Individuals own their bodies." Not "individuals' parents (or doctors, or mohels, etc) own their bodies." Get a clue about the party you say you belong to.

Repeat after me. Read these words and internalize them: permanently impairing a child's bodily function is child abuse.

NY Family Court Act Section 1012(e)(i): An "abused child" is "a child ... whose parent ... (i) inflicts or allows to be inflicted upon such child physical injury by other than accidental means which causes ... protracted loss or impairment of the function of any bodily organ."
