Sincere answer: women don't suffer from balanitis, because clitoral hood not the same. Sincere question: If foreskin so essential to them, why did men come up with idea of removal?

As circumcision historically was done to slaves & conquered enemies, probably for the same reason(s) men came up w/the idea of violence & slavery generally. Moreover, it's dangerous to assume

If women invented and wanted FGM,it would be a different scenario. But men invented both. FGM kills sexual enjoyment for women, not the case for circumcision. They are quintessentially different.

Did you read the article w/my tweet? Including the parts noting that some women say they don't mind the type of FGM (there's more than 1) inflicted on them & are proud of it, & other women say they want FGM for their daughters? Do you agree w/author these women should be heard?

Moreover, do you agree with the author that all children - male & female - should be protected from medically unnecessary genital cutting. If not, why not?
