“I’m cut and turned out fine” fails to persuade me for the same reasons “I got beat and turned out fine” fails. Give me better arguments.

Not everyone shares your relationship with pain. "If you want it, you can do it as an adult" ignores the significant benefit to doing it right after birth.

Not everyone shares your "relationship with pain" either, particularly infant boys who pass out from the pain of their circumcisions. There's no "significant benefit" to strapping down a healthy infant and amputating a healthy & functional body part, often w/out anesthetic #i2
