Bottom line: it makes money. Doctors and cosmetic companies make huge profit on baby foreskin. Part of it is psychological (dad's feel unhealthy need to force son's genitals to match theirs) sometimes it's perverted sexual pref (mom's force it on son bc that's what SHE prefers)- https://twitter.com/ninjatomnein/status/950115810164396032 …

Identity plays a big part in most of these choices. They assume if its intact, they'll be looked down upon in society. A friend of mine is gungho about snipping it off if she has a boy, hell she says she's even been to a circ and come out un-phased which is insane.

That is horrifying when people can witness such barbarism and not be phased. These people have no souls or empathy
No care for anyone else even if they claim they do. If the baby had passed out from shock then that could be why they're unphased bc those screams are horrifying1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

Again its this crazy need to identify with the rest of the country and not be left out of something. Mind you this all comes crashing down if there's ever a death or complications..

Social influence is both powerful & dangerous. Deaths/complications are surprisingly common. But does anyone listen to warnings? Nope. They deny them. Once saw a post of a mom adamant about circ'ing her son. After, was in terror bc he kept bleeding and needed to be rushed to ER
