You’re generalizing from an anecdote. Even if you can find one man whose subjective individual experience was improved, there are others whose experience was harmed greatly. That’s why it should be up to the individual, like in the case you presented.

Exactly. And the "she wouldn't know comment" is obviously baseless. FGM is also deemed a religious requirement. That
#circumcision might be medically necessary (although this is extremely rare) simply cannot justify forcing it on a healthy infant.2 replies 0 retweets 5 likes -

. I just looked up the origin of her statement She was talking about 3rd world countries with poor hygiene &poor skills Although you cite opposing opinions, the public health benefits of circumcision are undisputable

Indeed. To suggest
#circumcision "drastically decreases" AIDS risk is irresponsible, utterly unsupported nonsense. And of course, infant circumcision can do nothing to decrease the patient's risk of an STD.#i23 replies 0 retweets 5 likes -

Isn't that a comment better directed to the person who's offered zero support for the position that
#circumcision "drastically" reduces#HIV transmission? The fact is circumcision isn't containing HIV in sub-Saharan Africa, for the reasons predicted here:https://www.researchgate.net/publication/278023840_Critique_of_African_RCTs_into_Male_Circumcision_and_HIV_Sexual_Transmission …1 reply 0 retweets 3 likes -

social studies wanting to interfere in science and ignore facts. Just like they are presumptuous and want to impose their culture on other cultures and assume they are superior ( I'd call it cultural colonialism), they believe their " morals" and ethics supersede science&Facts

You use the "bias" label again have no basis for it. I don't know what you mean by "ethnics" but if you're suggesting that "science" should not be constrained by ETHICS then you could not be more wrong. Otherwise, we'd amputate breast tissue from all infants & end breast cancer.
