All of these “experts“ with their Google MD degrees are ridiculous. Medical experience is apparently no match for having a laptop.

Int'l medical consensus is against you. As the president of Germany's pediatric society has said: “there is no reason from a medical point of view to remove an intact foreskin from underage boys or boys unable to give consent”

Moreover, the belief that an infant is able to fall "asleep" while having skin, smooth muscle, nerves & blood vessels amputated from his penis isn't just without objective medical support. It's a preposterous myth, clung to by cutters to make themselves feel better.

I don’t personally care whether or not someone chooses circumcise their son. But to pretend there is no medical advantage to circumcision is a lie, as is the assumption that it is always traumatic.

To assume it’s not “always traumatic” means you believe babies are incapable of feeling pain. Absurd. It’s been pointed out to you beyond a shadow of a doubt that medical consensus is against circumcision, your refusal to acknowledge this is purely ideological & not reason-based.

You must have failed Logic 101. "Not always traumatic" doesn't mean babies can't feel pain, it means pain is subjective, and not all babies cry. Some cry a little, some cry a lot, and some not at all. And no, there is NO consensus.

Babies either cry horrifically or they pass out in shock. It is ALWAYS traumatic. This is not debatable. If you think it’s possible to have flesh torn away from your body with minimal pain then you are a conplete loony. Stop making excuses, circ isn’t science-based, it’s archaic.

You are clearly NOT working in the medical field if you believe they all cry horrifically or pass out in shock.

Why are women so invested in the mutilation of male penises? Seriously? What reason do you have to defend it? Conveniently you have no personal experience with the matter? You must have some other explainable reason for wanting to deny men the right to their natural bodies?

"Mutilation" is hyperbole. I'm a healthcare provider. I favor things that reduce the likelihood of getting sick, and I have stated more than once on this thread that I am pro-education, not anti-circ. Why do you deny the very real health benefits?

If you're a "health care provider" then you should know better than to promote amputative surgery on a child for purely prophylactic "benefits," because that violates all 4 cardinal principles of #bioethics. #FirstDoNoHarm #i2 #AAP19 #HisBodyHisChoice #PutKids1st #MedEd #ethics
