Can someone please explain the difference between female genital mutilation and circumcision?
Because it sure seems like in both cases baby genitals are being mutilated.
Yet one is illegal and condemned, but the other is legal and expected.

There is no comparison. And, higher cervical cancer rates for women with uncircumcised partners. Also, circumcision is much more hygienic in the elderly.

Even if being uncircumcised posed a higher risk of transmitting hpv, there are vaccines for that now and there have always been condoms.

You may want to take an advanced Micro or A&P class before just pulling something random off of the internet. I have taught community based health. There are other reasons as well. When I was deployed, our Airman and soldiers had to be circumcised before serving in the desert.

What have you taught about intact care of the young male. Do you know the correct way to clean intact children?

I'm willing to bet big $$ this unethical, child abuse-promoting "nurse" doesn't know, & doesn't know the international medical consensus is that the inherent harms & risks of #circumcision far outweigh the supposed benefits, & the contrary minority US view is the result of bias.
