The interview with Brother K was fine.
But the "pediatric nurse" named "Crystal" who said she worked at UCF made several demonstrably false statements. First, it is, in fact, unnecessary & medical malpractice to forcibly retract a boy's #foreskin before he retracts it on his own.https://twitter.com/Brother_K_BSM/status/1176638010768711680 …

Second, Crystal's own uninformed & biased "personal" opinions aside, there is a clear international medical consensus that the harms & risks of elective child
#circumcision far outweigh its supposed benefits.#i2@YourWholeBaby @AmerNurse2Day@AmerAcadPeds@Brother_K_BSM#MedEd1 reply 2 retweets 15 likesShow this thread -
US
#hospitals are lousy with#nurses like Crystal - biased, uninformed, unethical, incompetent, foreskin-retracting, child-abusing morons. As a public health & safety measure, every last one of them needs to be outed, retrained if possible, fired if not.#i2#MedEd @AmerNurse2Day1 reply 2 retweets 12 likesShow this thread -
So who's the MD that's going to find Crystal & tell her that forcible retraction is contrary to what
@AmerAcadPeds & all other informed MDs say is sound medical practice? Before she harms another child?#i2#tweetiatrician#tweetiatricians@YourWholeBaby@intactamerica@UCF3 replies 3 retweets 10 likesShow this thread -

What's "beyond creepy" is forcing
#circumcision on a non-consenting child - which is clearly YOUR sick, sadistic, abusive obsession. What's "normal" - i.e., what's done in most of the world - is recognizing children's healthy parts should be left alone.#i21 reply 0 retweets 2 likes -

Reasonable medical decisions are made all the time by parents on behalf of children who don't yet have the capacity to consent. It's truly bizarre to think that parents should not have this right in consultation with the child's doctor, especially when there is no downside

Amputating a child's healthy body part is NEVER a "reasonable" or even an ethical decision, medical or otherwise. That's why parents are NEVER allowed to do it. Excepting foreskin from this rule is completely unjustifiable. It's truly bizarre to think you can't see the downsides

But don't take my word for it. Any informed & ethical physician who is consulted will invariably cite these potential complications: https://med.stanford.edu/newborns/professional-education/circumcision/complications.html … & tell you one thing. Don't force
#circumcision on a child.#i2@AmerAcadPeds#tweetiatrician@CanPaedSociety@TheBMA0 replies 0 retweets 1 likeThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
