Apparently, the doctor's defense here is to admit "that a small piece of the glans of the infant’s penis (tip) had been removed with the foreskin,” yet this result occurred in the absence of negligence. What does that tell you? #i2 #meded @AmerAcadPedshttps://torontosun.com/news/national/regina-woman-suing-after-tip-of-sons-penis-cut-off-in-circumcision/wcm/da211877-ceb9-4fbf-acee-2e04864f5846/ …

That cutting off part of the glans is an inherent risk of
#circumcision that occurs even w/out physician negligence, even in a 21st century hospital setting. Forget the parental "consent" forms - parents need to read & understand MD defense statements in#circumcision lawsuits.1 reply 3 retweets 15 likesShow this thread -
Replying to @cooney21 @AmerAcadPeds
The denial of negligence is personal from the physician's side it doesn't mean the intern could have acted with negligence. It's always possible his supervision lived up to what is regarded as acceptable, if so then there is an additional risk of having an intern operate.

I take that point (it's one I meant to make myself).
