How about pleasing everyone by leaving babies intact and letting them decide for themselves as adults whether they want to be cut or not?

Adult circ is not the same as infant circ. Done in infancy, there is no feeling of loss or nerve, the skin can grow with the cut resulting in a better outcome, less risk and complications, less cost, etc

The main difference between adult genital cutting and child genital cutting is CONSENT! Consent matters!

No it’s about 10x the cost in every facet: financial, healing time, etc. the body doesn’t have a chance to heal using stem cells so the result is more scar tissue. The patient is already exposed to sex so can sense the loss of the nerves and may have STIs otherwise would not

Chance of complication increases significantly and ability to tell where cut should be made becomes more difficult.

Again, evidence? Studies that show it’s harder on an adult to see the foreskin clearly compared to an infant?

In fact, it's easier to be more precise with an adult's fully developed & retractile penis than with infant
#circumcision. Tessla nearly always manages to get it wrong.#i24 replies 0 retweets 9 likes -
You really have zero idea about circumcision. Very plainly, doctors will admit that the procedure is much less risky and much easier to do on an infant. The infant has stem cells and can heal with almost no scars without stitches. Adults cannot.

Very plainly, doctors say that w/out any basis for it b/c they're afraid they might get sued otherwise. "Stem cells"? "Almost no scars"? I guess next you'll be telling me you gave the twins magic beans that kept
#circumcision from harming them. Everyone can see your ignorance1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

doctors use biology. I know u wouldn’t kno bcuz u don’t know a lot. But biology and evidence dictate their opinions. Stem cells are extractable from the foreskin. Naturally the young can heal faster and quicker because of their cellular advantage. Scars arise when circ is delayed

Every cut penis has an obvious, discolored scar, whether #circumcision is delayed or not. "Stem cells" won't magically change that. Most MDs - those who use biology & aren't "strongly culturally biased" - say #circumcision isn't worth the risks/harms.#i2 https://pediatrics.aappublications.org/content/pediatrics/131/4/796.full.pdf …
