So we should continue to violate the bodily autonomy of men until what.. ? What's done is done. All I'm interested in is getting it to stop. I left my boys intact, and the statistics suggest they will be happy that way all their lives.

There’s no statistics that suggest that cut men are unhappy. Men will make decisions as fathers as to if they will leave their child intact if they feel their autonomy was violated by their parents.

Do we need 'statistics that prove blind men are not unhappy' to prove why we shouldn't deliberately gouge the eyes of babies out? Absurd.

When asked, circ men report either majority positive or mostly neutral. Few are dissatisfied.

Unless you are at 100% satisfied, you have a human rights problem. Also, the more men learn about what was taken from them, the more they get angry it was done without their consent. Education rate increases the dissatisfaction rate over time.

One common pro-slavery argument was, 'they're happy to be slaves!' She goes into an anti-slavery group & chants, "black folk are happy to be slaves!" Many women were happy their feet were bound, as it was regarded as lower status if you weren't - like circ in some communities.

As you rightly point out, most men also have no clue of the facts of circumcision. Most don't know they lost 80% of sexual sensation. Most have been told it's a "tiny" flap of "extra" skin - they're always surprised to learn it's ~15 sq inches or so.pic.twitter.com/YJHMpZYGqA

Exactly and they don’t miss it! Except a handful! You’ll never please everyone

How about pleasing everyone by leaving babies intact and letting them decide for themselves as adults whether they want to be cut or not?

Adult circ is not the same as infant circ. Done in infancy, there is no feeling of loss or nerve, the skin can grow with the cut resulting in a better outcome, less risk and complications, less cost, etc

Done in infancy, the loss of nerves, blood vessels, smooth muscle tissue, sebaceous glands and skin is an irrefutable fact, whether it is realized or not. Those structures do not "grow" back, and the risks, complications and costs are incalculable. Stop your arrogant lying. #i2
