Cheap shot. The fact that a mother & father (or same sex parents, for that matter) can disagree - sometimes vehemently - about whether to circumcise their child only further demonstrates why it's not a legitimate parental choice.

The father makes equal or greater part in decision. It’s not like mommy sneaks baby to the doc so he can cut without consent of the father.

Why should one parent have a "greater" part in the decision? Does a mother get a greater say in whether to cut a daughter?
And actually, fathers have been known to do exactly that. My wife & I have had to help & console a mother who was emotionally devastated by this. #i2
