Cannot WAIT until every child rapist who does non consensual, non medically needed circumcision is brought to justice.

Ain't gonna happen. New laws can't be applied retroactively (and with good reason!). But if it stops going forward, I'd consider the battle won. And we're winnging! The US West Coast and Florida are pretty much won. Other than NE and MW US, Jews and Muslims, no one else does it:pic.twitter.com/mgTIs5BecL

Tides are turning, but it's not a full victory until circumcision is outlawed in cases where it is neither consensual or medically needed and we get tissue regeneration for people who were circumcised without their consent and who want their foreskins back. Intactivism will win.

It proves medically beneficial, so I see it keeping in vogue as an optional operation.

Again, there is no medical benefit to circumcision that can't be more easily, effectively, and most importantly, ETHICALLY achieved through proper hygiene and condom use.

The medical community would disagree with the first half but yes good hygiene and condom use is always important. Also monogamy! Wedlock is best!

Agree monogamy & wedlock are best, but the international medical community is actually quite clear that the "health benefits" claimed for #circumcision "do not represent compelling reasons for surgery before boys are old enough to decide for themselves" https://pediatrics.aappublications.org/content/pediatrics/131/4/796.full.pdf …
