1st, an MD has an independent ethical duty not to amputate a child patient's natural & healthy body part unless it is absolutely medically necessary to do so. 2nd, MDs CAN stop parents from asking for
#circumcision by educating them. When#parents get complete & true info about the nature & functions of the#foreskin & the actual medical facts about the#bioethics, risks, harms & "benefits" of child circumcision, they don't ask for it.Show this thread
