Even though you don’t remember it, it was still your right to choose.
Maybe your decision as an adult would have been different if you hadn’t have had the procedure done and you got to experience your body unaltered.
Many body parts can be removed w/out causing death. That doesn't mean removing them from a child is ethical. It's unethical to perform surgery on a child unless to diagnose or treat a presently existing clinical condition.
