The most recent study found circumcision has an 11.5% complication rate. One of those complications is death. There are no actual "risks" to keeping your foreskin. "Why risk it?" is a question to ask about getting circumcised, not about remaining intact.https://www.thestar.com/news/gta/2015/10/26/secrecy-questioned-about-babys-death-after-circumcision.html …

And the "we make choices for our kids all the time" argument is just ridiculous when applied to amputating healthy, functional, innervated, genital tissue. Ask Evan to read this & then whether he thinks parents should be allowed to cut their daughters.

But I get it. It's an "article about a heated debate" so that must mean the arguments on both sides simply must be valid - like the heated debate we once had about slavery, right?
The fact is only Will has the medical facts, the ethics & the law on his side. #i21 reply 1 retweet 8 likes
"My son will most likely be totally all right with it." That's just what Shea Levy's father thought. "Will most likely be totally all right with it" is never good enough when it comes to amputating someone else's penis parts w/out compelling medical need. http://www.beyondthebris.com/2011/06/to-mohel-who-cut-me.html …
