Time to conflate the battle against circumcision and FGM as ‘Childhood Genital Mutilation’ (CGM).
"All children—female, male, and intersex... should get to decide whether they want their 'private parts' nicked, pricked, labiaplastied, 'normalized,' circumcised, or sewn, at an age when they can appreciate what is really at stake."
So you decided to ignore the conclusion? #i2

No, because that’s taken as a given. My original comment was about the necessity to protect babies from dogmatic, surgical insults.

If you really understood this issue, you'd understand that the conclusion set forth by
@briandavidearp is far from "taken as a given," and that a statement like your "original comment" is far from helpful, accurate, or even what you now represent it to have been.#i2 - 2 more replies

At the risk of being disappointed again by your lack of reading comprehension & inability to defend your position w/specifics, please cite the part of this article by
@briandavidearp that "suggest[s] that, because some FGM is only partially invasive, it should be allowed."#i2 -
I take it from your last response to me that you have nothing to say in response to this. Which is hardly surprising, b/c anyone who's actually read the article understands it does NOT suggest ANY FGM should be allowed.
