@cooney21 I totally agree with you on Circumcision. I am a retired OB, who managed to talk many parents out of it. But there others who I couldn’t. I think it’s an unnecessary procedure on innocent children who can’t protest.

And let me suggest that redemption, when you're ready for it, ought to take the form of your reaching out to other OBs, speaking & writing publicly about your experiences, & urging doctors & parents to stop cutting healthy boys. You potentially have a very powerful voice.

Alright I doubt bill will go away and I did support you for a while but... your duty of care is owed to your patient, in this case the infant. Refusing to perform unnecessary surgery without your patient's direct consent was your duty. You did not do your duty you failed in it.
