The research keeps pointing to infant male circumcision as the causation of SIDS. How can #AAP continue to support it.
Not one member of the task force has ever expressed, to my knowledge at least, any skepticism about the supposed value of newborn male circumcision. That's extraordinary, considering the int'l medical consensus is that it's unhelpful, if not unethical. #i2 http://pediatrics.aappublications.org/content/pediatrics/early/2013/03/12/peds.2012-2896.full.pdf …

As the president of the German pediatric society has put it: "the statement from the AAP [has] been graded by almost all other pediatric societies and associations worldwide as being scientifically untenable." (p. 13)

Wouldn't the AAP
#Circumcision Task Force have been more likely to have reached a conclusion NOT deemed "scientifically untenable" by the rest of the world's pediatricians if it had at least SOME members whose views differed from Dr. Freedman's?#i2#firstdonoharm#pediatrics
