The research keeps pointing to infant male circumcision as the causation of SIDS. How can

Technically, the 2012
@AmerAcadPeds statement says the risk-benefit ratio is reasonable for those who choose it (usually parents are doing it for cultural reasons) but don’t routinely recommend it. In comparison, VitK injection at birth is standard of care#Pediatrics4 replies 0 retweets 0 likes
Well, to be precise, it says "the benefits outweigh the risks," but doesn't recommend the procedure. It also admits the true incidence of complications is unknown. How can the benefits outweigh the unknown risks? They were "felt" to outweigh them. Nothing "reasonable"about it.
