I will point out that this has not yet been peer reviewed and we all (should) know correlation ≠ causation, but the international data collection is impressive, adding to eternal #circumcision debate

Appreciate your comments Dr. Chen. To borrow a phrase from Dr. Freedman, "given the role of the phallus in our culture," I strongly resent the circumcision forced on me during my birth hospitalization.
Do you think the doctor who cut me ought to apologize to me? Why/why not? #i2

My instinctive answer is it may be more up to your parents to apologize to you - they would have been required to consent to the procedure (or ask for it in the first place!)

If a woman told you she strongly resented having been forced as a girl to take a pinprick to her genitals - by a US MD - would it be your "instinctive answer" to tell her only her parents, not her MD, should apologize?
