Anti-circumcision people are among the most passionate nuts on the internet.
I’m open to their arguments. But they really are fervent and not doing themselves any favors with their insane comparisons to, say, FGM and... uh, the holocaust, apparently.
Most people who complain about the FGM comparisons only seem to consider the worst possible forms of FGM. As for the holocaust thing, I think the comment was in poor taste but he didn't really compare the severity...

The parent decides for the child. It’s not an issue of consent.
Not an argument. Why should they have that right? It's a permanent decision. Why shouldn't people make it for themselves?
Your parents make a lot of decisions for you. Circumcision doesn't have much downside. Nobody cares that much either way.
What other body part can a parent decide to amputate from a child's body for non therapeutic reasons?
