If you upload a video, it will be automatically blocked. Don't worry, you aren't in trouble. A moderator just needs to review it first.

Peertube uses peer to peer sharing so you might see a warning about that. If you're worried about someone snooping on your IP, you can always disable p2p sharing or use a vpn

This is actually what makes peertube a viable competitor to YouTube, peer sharing makes it viable for small instances to host a lot of video traffic without going down

The sites are not getting the kind of traffic to warrant the p2p sharing system, so don't feel bad to turn it off. Most videos will just say "1 peer" when you watch them, which is just the server, not a person.

Actually that 1 peer might be you, the viewer. That makes more sense because when 2 people are watching it says 2 peers
