Ugh I have always flown American and have pretty good experiences with them. But I may need to switch to Southwest. This is absolute madness.

I wish I could understand the science behind @AmericanAir having completely full flights with people packed like sardines while forcing 2 year olds to wear masks.

If I’m not mistaken, the CDC said that viruses don’t spread easily on planes due to how the air is filtered. Not sure how accurate that is. But if that’s the case, maybe masks aren’t super necessary. Either way, I wouldn’t want to sit on a totally packed plane right now.

Delta and Alaska don’t book the middle seats. But I understand there’s some places you can’t get to unless you fly American.

I was surprised when I had to fly recently packed mere inches from those behind and in front. Deplaning procedure requested waiting until the person deplaning in front of you was 6' ahead. Covid can't get you when you are seated, yeah 'science!'
