Girl— that's an elected official, treat her with more respect.

She hasn’t been elected for anything.

-
Apologies, just stating a foregone conclusion. The respect issue still applies. She won a democratic primary, you made a video. What else have you done? She's not "girl."

The left have no sense of humor. "smiling" Do they not ever take a break from taking themselves soooooooo seriously?
-
And what about those on the right who were fooled? The right didn't even know Pizzagate was a joke.

There's a difference between satire and blatant misinformation. You know good and well that a majority of your followers don't watch PBS, or keep up to date with when a Democratic Socialist candidate has appearances. At no point was the video mentioned as "a joke"
-
People who have been fans of Allie for a while know she does a lot of satirical videos. This was clearly satire. The backgrounds aren’t even the same.
-
You really think out of the over 1 million views it got on FB in one day, that the majority know it's satire and aren't spreading it as legitimate? She doesn't have that "many" fans to the point where everyone knows she poorly attempts satire. Its misinformation.
-
Those who are spreading it as true are a problem, I will say that. If I see someone doing it, I’ll be quick to correct them. But that wasn’t the purpose of the video. It’s a joke, and anyone with common sense can see that.
-
The problem is common sense is no longer common and this was made with the intent to make Ocasio look clueless. This has politically harmful effects for someone who is actually well-educated and knows what she's talking about.
-
We can agree on common sense no longer being common. However, I will let your opinion of Ocasio be. That’s something we won’t be able to agree on, I don’t think. Those of us who know that this was only a joke are responsible for making sure this video stays just that: a joke.
-
It wasn't even made known that it was supposed to be satire until it had over 1 million views. You don't see an issue with that? Also her education level isn't really something that's arguable
-
No, because it so clearly is a satirical video. It makes Ocasio look so awkward that it’s clearly a joke. Also, I wasn’t referring to her education level. More so that I don’t think she’s really thinking clearly when it comes to socialism.

Take notes from
@StephenAtHome or@TheDailyShow on well done satire. This fake interview with@Ocasio2018 wasn’t CLEARLY a joke to a lot of your target audience, but that’s probably what you were counting on.

I want to know what sorry excuse for a Republican is afraid of her.
-
Pretty much every one that attacks her on baseless claims

-
Baseless claims? She literally said everyone is working two jobs and that’s why unemployment is low Dumbest shit I ever heard
-
here is an example of what I was speaking of Big Mike, try researching on your own next time. I'm not your daddyhttps://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-partisan/wp/2018/07/03/a-failed-republican-attack-on-alexandria-ocasio-cortez-offers-a-lesson-for-democrats/?utm_term=.efc1830be039 …
-
Again she literally doesn’t know how the economy and unemployment works. Nor does she have a sense of history or geopolitical issues. She’s proven this
-
really so after our Pentagon loses MILLIONS of dollars she's the one who doesn't understand Economy. How bout that Military money go towards Citizens of the U.S. (Richest country in the world) and not Defense contractors for never ending warshttps://www.politico.com/story/2018/02/05/pentagon-logistics-agency-review-funds-322860 …
-
I agree with you on that. The military industrial complex has gone unchecked for far too long and the promotion and involvement in senseless wars or conflicts we have nothing to do with needs to end
-
I'm glad that we agree. So maybe the Billions of dollars for our defense budget could be redistributed elsewhere, maybe the programs she seems to advocate for perhaps. Fighting for your fellow citizens shouldn't be looked at as evil.https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2018/06/19/u-s-military-budget-inches-closer-to-1-trillion-mark-as-concerns-over-federal-deficit-grow/?utm_term=.28643290c58a …
