In 2016, the SFBOS - in its infinite wisdom - extended sanctuary city policies to also apply to felons. Seriously: has there been ANY benefit that has made all the death and disorder a worthwhile price to pay? Because it sure looks like the only upshot has been “it allowed some grandstanding politicians to preen before the cameras and a small collection of activists for a day”.
