Listen, I do not, in any way shape or form, purport to be an expert in the area of criminal justice. But your insistence on defending yourself without really taking half a breath to self reflect does NOT make SF residents feel safe. Again, I go back to your job and your role. 1/

Your job, your duty, is to protect this city, which I get is way more complex than 180 characters can convey. You want to make change. You want to change the system. How do you expect to do that in an elected position without political support? 2/

You are receiving rampant criticism, yet you keep deflecting and defending poor decisions that you and your office made. And now you’re receiving criticism for your behavior and your tone deaf responses. We just want to feel safe and a good portion of your electorate doesn’t. 3/

Whether you personally agree with the criticism or not, it would behoove you to not just hear it, but listen, reflect, swallow your pride, own it, and move forward. That would go a long, long way in restoring your credibility, and will make you more effective in the future.

The thing is... I’m a narcissistic communist sociopath with a vendetta against police, who I blame for separating me from my biological parents by dying when they were shot by my parents’ terrorist friends. Sooo.... nah. Just gonna record another podcast.
