Replying to @michelletandler @chesaboudin
Just promise you won’t ask me any probing questions, like: When you say you “take action” on a case, what do you mean? When you say you “prosecute” a case, how often does it result in the detainment of the accused?

Why do police say most crimes are committed by repeat offenders, and that they even know who these repeat offenders are, but nothing is done about it? What level of crime or number of incremental deaths will you tolerate before considering that maybe your polices are at fault?

When you say ‘crime is down’ why do you think almost every citizen of San Francisco disagrees based on their own experiences? If you can’t incarcerate because of COVID, are you antigen testing suspects before making a decision to release them from custody?

And DEFINITELY don’t ask me: When you walk the streets of SF, what do you see that convinces you that you’re doing a good job? Or Since crime is down, would you be willing to publicly post your home address and make/model of your car?

Or certainly don’t ask: When you wrote about the successes that Hugo Chavez had in Venezuela, and that it was good that he was elected President for life, what did you mean by that? Or How did the Marxist views of your biological and adoptive parents affect your worldview?

And lastly, please don’t ask to see my statistics on “percentage likelihood that a repeat felon who commits five more serious crimes while out on parole will FINALLY see the error of his ways after the *sixth* ‘restorative intervention’ and become a productive member of society”
