You’re referring to 1.1, but as far as I can tell that only applies to OIN-owned patents. Microsoft didn’t donate its patents to OIN, it only joined OIN, so wouldn’t its patents fall under 1.2?

Ah, I guess "OIN Patents" in 1.1 probably makes it apply to only the owned patents.
