The idea that because Sinn Fein won seats as abstentionists no-one can ever question abstentionism is ridiculous. Our fate is being decided at Westminster right now. Shocked to see good journalists buying this nonsense.

Question away but that's the mandate they are elected on. No doubt SF MPs are as disappointed as you in tonight and many other votes but they can't pick and choose, they wouldn't be chosen at all then.

They show they are pushovers who only silence the concerns of their constituents. They have no point, they deliver nothing and refuse to govern at home. Sinn Féin have given up. The struggle is over for them.

Question the policy all you want, fact remains, that policy was presented to the people, the people choose to abstain. Get over it, your bitterness will be the death of your party. Irish people had a choice, Westminster or abstain, they choose wisely.

It's hardly "nonsense" where have you been since 1916? Where were you during the troubles? Have you heard of the 1981 hungers strikers and a chap called Bobby Sands? Are you so silly and shallow you are 4getting the basis of their standing?

He was growing up in Northern Ireland during the Troubles? It’s one thing to disagree with his political views but it’s another to suggest he doesn’t understand the history of where he was born...

For those supporting SF's stance, don't complain about the damage Brexit does to NI.

More shocking is your lack of understanding of the nationalist/ republican vote.

I think our fate has been decided by decades of bankers and their lobbying prowess/ #ponzi #frauds.. PESCO NATO etc cannot be isolated from BREXIT nor can Ireland's future neutrality not be a core issue.

Colum don't focus on what you cannot change focus on what you can do going forward.its your fault that the Tories only won by a slim majority because if u had of appealed to the voters in the North ur party would have been elected but u didn't

Colum! Not that your 3 MP's were much use when elected to Westminster, that is, When they decided to turn up, I watch a lot of live coverage from Westminster & it was noticeable that your MPs were generally Conspicuous by their Absence The effort was made on Wednesdays for NI Q'S
