Derry, and the whole island, is in mourning today following the passing of our friend, leader and greatest peacemaker. We can never repay all that John did for us but we can live the values that meant so much to him. We shall overcome.

  4. Conversion therapy should not be tolerated in 2021 and should be banned as soon as possible. Both and I have signed Early Day Motion #565 which calls for LGBTQ+ conversion therapy to be made illegal here. Keep up the good work .

  6. Boris Johnson has been invisible over the past few weeks while we've been dealing with the political tensions on our streets. The British-Irish Intergovernmental conference must be convened as soon as possible to work through the difficult issues.

  8. The Greensill scandal is another blatant example of abuse of privilege, power and cronyism in this Tory government. We need a proper inquiry into corruption and dodgy Tory dealings.

  10. Another shooting in Derry, another night of fear for the local residents. Acts of barbarism like this only drag us backwards. The community doesn’t want guns on the streets or those who are wielding them. These people need to get off our backs and go away for good.

It's disappointing but not surprising that the British govt can't accept that their dishonesty over Brexit is having an impact on the streets. To deal with the crisis in our peace process, politicians must come together & convene the British-Irish Intergovernmental Conference.

. says he disappointed by UK govt's lack of acceptance of culpability in how it has dealt with Brexit & its failure to be honest with the Unionist people. Calls for the BIIGC to be convened. "Policing may be devolved, but peace isn't." he adds
