Hey, I'm an atheist but I did have a friend that had leukemia & it was her unwaivering faith in God that gave her the strength to get through the medical treatment & stay positive so...who am I to say it faith in anything can't potentially have some positive effects

If at worst case it's a placebo how is it a bad thing to highlight the effectiveness of a placebo and the mind's ability to heal the body? The placebo effect has shown to be effective when the patient is aware they are receiving a placebo. Shouldn't we be researching this more?
