Hey, I'm an atheist but I did have a friend that had leukemia & it was her unwaivering faith in God that gave her the strength to get through the medical treatment & stay positive so...who am I to say it faith in anything can't potentially have some positive effects
Whilst I'm sure Andrew Denton's intention is to take a sceptical approach to this guy the problem is it is drawing even more attention to him and will make people seek out "a miracle" that is based on nothing more than a placebo effect & hopes and wishes #InterviewAU

If at worst case it's a placebo how is it a bad thing to highlight the effectiveness of a placebo and the mind's ability to heal the body? The placebo effect has shown to be effective when the patient is aware they are receiving a placebo. Shouldn't we be researching this more?
