    This week, Kendrick Castillo expected to finish high school. He was on the robotics team and planned on studying engineering in college. Instead, he died a hero, charging a shooter to save his classmates. We must remember Kendrick, and refuse to let these tragedies become normal

    We should never expect our students to be heroes, but yesterday Kendrick became one. He should have been preparing for graduation. Instead, he bravely lunged at a gunman and saved his classmates. We will never forget him.
